    Payment Terms:
    A minimum non-refundable deposit of £250 is required, upon purchase of your new vehicle. If you wish to pay the balance owing on your car by cheque we need to have the cheque and it be cleared in our account before collection of your vehicle. We accept Debit Cards and Bank transfers can also be arranged. We can accept up to the amount of £1,000 on Credit Cards but no more without prior agreement with our Sales staff. We also accept cash up to £7,000 (proof of address and identity will be required). If you wish to purchase your new vehicle buy bank transfer please request our bank details from your sales executive and put your surname or the car registration number as the reference. All bank transfers need to made and cleared prior to the customer collecting the car from the dealership. You have a 30 day exchange period to return vehicle and receive a full refund if the car is not as described, faulty or fit for purpose.

    To license your new vehicle, we need to know that your vehicle is insured. We don’t need to see a certificate but using the details below, please can you organise insurance. For an insurance quotation from Honda please ring the following number 03448000462.

    If you have benefited from Honda Finances excellent packages, we require a copy of your valid UK Driving License or a copy of your passport. We will photocopy the passport or driving license once you arrive at the dealership to collect your car. Finance documents have to be signed on trade premises. Due to FCA regulations we will provide you with a status disclosure and ask you to sign a document detailing that you have been made aware of all your funding options. We will require personal details off you to complete a finance application but these details will remain in house and then destroyed under the Data Protection Act. You will be provided with a copy of our status disclosure when taking delivery of your car. We do also have an external finance company to use when required. There terms and conditions are available and must be adhered to. Any additional information may be requested at any point when making your application for example they may want pay slips, bank statements etc. If you require a copy of your finance agreement and/or invoice please ask your sales executive at point of handover.

    Part Exchange:
    If you are part exchanging your current vehicle, please ensure on the day of collection you bring the following items with you: - V5 Registration Log Book, Current Mot Certificate, Service Book and Instruction Manuals, 2 keys, Lock Wheel Nut Tools, Radio and Security Codes as applicable. Please make sure that correct stereos are in car and other accessories are as they should be in agreement with your Sales Executive. The part exchange appraisal at the time of order stands, if any further damage has been done after that and before collection of your new car you will be charged accordingly.

    If you have received any damage to your car during the duration of your ownership, please contact John Heaps here at the garage. He will speak to our Honda Approved Bodywork Repair Centre who is Mark West at Kings Lynn Vehicle Repairs. Mark will arrange the repair of your vehicle and a loan car will be provided so you can carry on as normal. If your car is not repaired by a Honda Approved Body Shop, that can lead to invalidation of your vehicle warranty. Please speak to Mark or John before contacting your insurance company.

    • All the latest offers and exciting information supplied to you by Honda UK can be viewed on your device.

    • If you are involved in an accident your app will try to call you, if no response the app will notify emergency services and dispatch them to you. You can also access your roadside assistance options through the app should you have a flat tyre or something more!


    General Terms
    These terms and conditions are intended to contain all the terms of an agreement between us (the company) and you the (customer) relating to the repair, servicing or other work as required by the customer when making a booking. If we agree any variation in the work to be done or goods to be supplied, this shall be deemed to be an amendment to this agreement rather than a new agreement. This agreement is made in England, shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts and shall be governed and construed in accordance with English law.

    Any estimate based on the published price for the goods/work involved at the time of the estimate. If the manufacturer or other supplier of the goods, change the published price after the date of the estimate, we will notify you of any increase to the estimate. If the increase will be more than 10% of the total estimate you may give notice within 14 days to cancel the agreement. We will amend the estimate as proposed. You will be asked to sign a job card by a member of the service team when you bring your vehicle in to us before work begins. The service advisor will confirm that work that you have requested to be carried out and quote you if required at that point for work to be carried out.

    Completion of work and payment
    We will use or best efforts to do work or supply goods within any time estimate we have given you, but are not liable for delays due to any cause outside our control. We shall be entitled to sub contract all or any part of the work, but will be responsible for the quality of the sub-contractors work. If for whatever reason we do not carry out the work in full, we will only charge you for any goods supplied or fitted and a reasonable amount for any work actually done. We will notify you when the work is complete and the vehicle and/or goods are ready for collection and (unless you have an account with us, in which case you must comply with the terms agreed in relation to the operation of such account) you must pay for the work and/or goods upon collection. All payments must be made in cash or by a UK debit or credit card, unless we have agreed to accept a cheque, in which case the cheque must be drawn on a UK clearing bank and received not less than five days before you collect the vehicle and/or goods. We can also provide you with our bank details upon request so that monies can be transferred into our account.

    Loss, Damage and Liability
    We will carry out the work with reasonable care and skill, and warrant it will remain free of defects in workmanship for a period of 3 months or 3,000 miles, whichever occurs sooner, from the date of the work completed. However, this warranty will not apply if the vehicle is involved in an accident or if and to the extent that a detect is caused or worsened by you’re (A)failure to inform us promptly of the defect and allowing us promptly to examine the goods and/or vehicle and endeavour to remedy the defect (B) misusing or neglecting the vehicle or using the permitting it to be used for racing, rallying or other such sports (C) failing to comply with instructions form the manufacturer or from us concerning the treatment, maintenance, and care of the vehicle and/or goods or to have it/them serviced in accordance with the manufactures instructions.( D) fitting the vehicle, or permitting it to be fitted with parts or accessories which have not been improved by the manufacturer or (E) altering the vehicle and/or goods, or permitting it/them to be altered, in any manner which has not been approved by the manufacturer. Expect where you are acting as the consumer, and except for fraud or for death or personal injury resulting from our own negligence, we limit our liability for any breach of this agreement to the amount you have paid for the work and/or goods and expressly exclude all liability for loss of profit, goodwill or contracts and for any indirect, consequential or economic loss. You should also remove any items of value not related to the vehicle as we will not accept any liability for loss or damage to these which is not caused by our own negligence.

    Returned Goods
    We will accept the return of any goods which you did not order specifically, provided that you return them, in the same condition as when supplied, within five working days of delivery, produce our original invoice and pay (at the rate current on the date of return) our handling charges for returned goods. We will not accept return of any goods which are not defective.

    Loan Car terms and conditions
    You will be asked to complete a loan car form upon collection of a vehicle from us for the duration of the agreed repair period. This form will place you on the insurance for Crown Garage Limited for the agreed period. There is a £250 excess that you will be responsible for any of our courtesy vehicles. You will need to provide your driving license to the service advisor and sign the loan car form. You are required to put your name, address and contact details on the form for our insurance purposes. By signing the form you will be agreeing to the following terms and conditions. (1) The vehicle remains at all times, the property of Crown Garage Ltd (2) Type R and/or other sports models must not be driven in sports modes and stay within national speed limits (Failure to comply with this will result in the insurance being invalid and you be liable for any loss or damage to the vehicle and/or any other persons, property or vehicles damaged.) (3) A fuel charge of 0.15 pence per mile maybe added to your invoice (this is to the discretion of the service or sales executive) (4) You must possess a full UK driving license, be in a fit condition to drive and over the age of 21. (5) There is a strict no smoking policy in all of our vehicles. (6) I shall inform Crown Garage Honda as soon as possible if I become aware of any damage caused to the vehicle whilst under my control and follow any instruction given to me. You are responsible for the 1st £250 excess of any insurance claim. (7) I accept full responsibility for any traffic offenses that occur during the period of demonstration and/or loan whilst the vehicle is under your control, and I therefore permit Crown Garage to disclose my contact details to the appropriate authority and where applicable, I shall settle all sums relating to motoring fines or violations promptly. If you have any complaints about the condition of the vehicle provided please speak to the service advisor. The service advisor will go round the vehicle with you and carry out an assessment of the vehicle upon collection and return of the vehicle.

    Data Protection
    You will be asked to complete the data protection form by your service advisor if you are a new customer to us. This allows us to contact you via methods of contact that you prefer and allows third parties from Crown Garage and Honda UK to contact you re relevant information regarding our products and services. This will be explained in detail by your service advisor.

    Personal data:
    From time to time Crown Garage and Honda Motor Europe Ltd would like to contact you for marketing purposes. If you are a current Crown Garage customer, nothing changes. You will be contacted in the same way as you have before and in the same fashion as before.

    From time to time Honda, it’s associated companies, authorised dealers or third parties working on behalf of Honda may wish to contact you regarding our products, services, offers, technical developments or your opinions which maybe used for marketing, research or analysis purposes.

    This acceptance also indicates that you are happy to register your details and receive contact from Honda via the My Honda app should you use this facility.
